Our fairytale came true

It was July 26, 2003, when I received an email notification from ASC telling me that a Smile from BigCat was sent to me. I didn't think much of it at first because of our age differences and the fact we are half way around the world from each other. She was 26 and I was 42 then. I thought she must have misread my profile and thought I was 24 instead 42. So I wrote back to her and asked her if she had read my profile correctly. BigCat told me she read everything clearly. She even said she read between the lines. She felt that she understood exactly what I was feeling and she was curious to find out more. That very same day we both happened to log on to the AsianSinglesConnection and I saw her name. I started to IM her using the ASC IM.

Ever since the day we made the connection, we communicated by IM, web cam, email, telephone, and believe it or not, even by conventional mail. We finally met in person in November and spent the most wonderful 18 days of our lives together. We met again in February and I proposed to her on the last day before she went back to Hong Kong. We got married on May 29th, 2004.

We are so happy that our fairy tale came true for us. For those of you out there still searching, all we can say is don't give up because you will never know when fate will be calling.

Our chemistry is awesome!

I had joined many sites other than this one and within a few days, I had gotten a lot of messages from people I would never be interested in. Then someone from Asian Singles Connection found me and I was interested! I upgraded my membership so we could talk, then we exchanged each other's contact information and have been calling and talking. It has been so wonderful, our chemistry is awesome! We have made permanent plans to be with one another and they are coming up very soon! Thank you Asian Singles Connection!

I couldn't thank God for his existance in my life.

I has been more than one year since I joined ASN. I would say that I met a number of friendly guys online and some are harsh too. Nonetheless since the first week I came over to London for great exposure in life, I met Kevin. He sent me a smile back at Malaysia then but I was too busy getting myself ready to come over to London. When I arrived, I remembered his smile and replied him back.

Our communication started back on 04/06/07. From that day onwards we engaged almost every night in online chatting (there are some nights off for our busy schedule) for the past 10 weeks. He was shy initially and I took the lead in the earlier part of the conversation but later on he is at ease with me. We never jump into the relationship though but we are exploring the possibilities to be together. We are great friends!

Finally we decided for a meet up on 04/08/07 cos we don't want to waste anymore time online. We want to see if we are that real and compatible in person. He came over to London all over from Milwaukee. In short, we had great times together for the past few days. We were just like a friend that I have known for a long time as we are truthful towards each other during the online chatting. We missed each other terribly and to be frank our feelings for each other grown too!

We are seperated once again by Pasific Ocean, 8 hours flight apart and 6 hours difference of our local time. Both of us know that it's not the right time to start a relationship as we still have our own set of duty to perform back in our respective countries. The thing that really bond us together is our faith in God, Jesus Christ. As we wait patiently for the right timing, we devote ourselves in prayer and submission of our future into His hands. We believe that He will make a way if we are really meant for each other.

We are planning for another meet-up by end of this year. We need more time to know each others' personalities in person. I couldn't thank God for his existance in my life. What a divine arrangement as both of us never really believe in online dating. It's wonderful to find a great friend, a brother and someone whom I can call a husband in future (hopefully)!

To all those out there who are still searching for a potential husband/wife. My advice is to guard your heart about all else for it is the wellspring of life. Do not love someone mainly based on emotion, for if it dies so does your love towards him/her. Relate with your mind and trust God indeed to do the miraculous work in your life for a fulfilling marriage!

Joy and happiness

I just wanted to say thank you so much! I have travelled to the Philippines twice now, have applied for a fiancee visa and plan on getting married at the end of the year. Thanks again for bringing so much joy and happiness into my life!
