Our fairytale came true
It was July 26, 2003, when I received an email notification from ASC telling me that a Smile from BigCat was sent to me. I didn't think much of it at first because of our age differences and the fact we are half way around the world from each other. She was 26 and I was 42 then. I thought she must have misread my profile and thought I was 24 instead 42. So I wrote back to her and asked her if she had read my profile correctly. BigCat told me she read everything clearly. She even said she read between the lines. She felt that she understood exactly what I was feeling and she was curious to find out more. That very same day we both happened to log on to the AsianSinglesConnection and I saw her name. I started to IM her using the ASC IM.
Ever since the day we made the connection, we communicated by IM, web cam, email, telephone, and believe it or not, even by conventional mail. We finally met in person in November and spent the most wonderful 18 days of our lives together. We met again in February and I proposed to her on the last day before she went back to Hong Kong. We got married on May 29th, 2004.
We are so happy that our fairy tale came true for us. For those of you out there still searching, all we can say is don't give up because you will never know when fate will be calling.
